Electrolysis Permanent Hair Removal

Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method of permanent hair removal. It works by using a very fine sterile probe inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle.

There are three different electrolysis modalities — galvanic, thermolysis, and blend. Each works slightly differently, and the most appropriate method will be carefully selected to ensure the best possible results.

Unlike temporary methods such as shaving, waxing, or threading, electrolysis treats each hair individually and offers a truly permanent solution. It is suitable for all skin types and hair colours, making it an effective option for areas that other treatments, like laser hair removal, may not be able to treat.

Electrolysis is especially effective for small areas such as facial hair, nipple/ chest, bikini line and under arm. Over a course of treatments, hair growth is reduced until it is completely eliminated, giving you smooth, clear skin without the need for ongoing maintenance.

Blemish Removal with Advanced Electrolysis

Blemish removal is a highly effective treatment designed to safely and precisely target unwanted skin imperfections such as skin tags, milia, thread veins, mole reduction and other minor blemishes.

At Follicles by Karina Jane, I use advanced electrolysis to treat these concerns with care by applying a controlled current to the affected area, the blemish can be reduced or removed with minimal impact on the surrounding skin.

Every treatment begins with a thorough assessment to determine the most appropriate approach for your skin type and the specific blemish being treated. My focus is always on safety, precision, and achieving the best possible cosmetic result while keeping discomfort to a minimum with zero downtime.

I understand that skin imperfections can affect confidence, which is why I provide a calm, supportive environment where you can feel at ease throughout your treatment.

Aftercare is an essential part of the process, and you’ll be given clear guidance to support healing and achieve the best results. Some blemishes may need advanced approval from a doctor before treatment can begin.
